Riviera Line

Exeter Central – Paignton

Departing from Exeter city centre, the Riviera line follows the Exe Estuary and the coast, offering amazing views right from your train seat.

The Riviera Line journeys through seaside beauty spots like Dawlish and Teignmouth, and onwards to the glorious English Riviera. Here the train stops at Torre (closest for Torquay town centre), Torquay and Paignton. You’ll be on the beach in no time.

Torquay’s iconic palm trees, busy harbour and international marina make it a firm favourite for all the family. The long sandy beach at Dawlish is perfect for summer days of swimming, rock pooling or building sandcastles. Head to Paignton and enjoy exploring the impressive Paignton Zoo.

Scenic views

Grab your camera and sit by the window for some epic views from your seat. The most scenic section of the line is beween Starcross and Teignmouth.
