The journey takes in the most picturesque countryside that you can explore further with easy access to many walks including the Liberty Trail, White Hart Way and National Cycle Routes along the way. Ideal for a day trip, short break on longer staycation and travelling by train is a great way to make your trip greener.

On approaching Crewkerne the route borders the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), before entering the lush green valleys and hills of the Blackmore Vale.
